How it all began!

Bexhill in Bloom originated in 1991 and every year has a Competition 

2001 entered South East in Bloom winning Best New Entry Award. Entered each year since, winning many major Awards

Bexhill Carnival Bexhill in Bloom have won a THIRD, a SECOND and a FIRST place over the years

Bexhill Achievers Awards 2005 Bexhill in Bloom gained Second Award

In 2008 Bexhill is ’GOING FOR GOLD’

National judges for South & South East in Bloom visit Bexhill and are met by a Welcoming Party at the Environmental Centre.

Bexhill in Bloom has a themed Flower Bed on the sea front which each year depicts a different logo following the major event of the year:

100 years Bus Travel; Clock-tower Centenary; Rowing Regatta logo; Charter Trustee Centenary with the Crest depicted in the flowerbed.

Bexhill-on-Sea has just gained FAIRTRADE Town status. Bexhill in Bloom supports Fairtrade and will depict the Fairtrade Logo in the 2008 flower bed.
